The decision isn't the obstacle
When someone leaves an appointment, the intention to return is usually present. What changes between then and a week later isn't desire — it's the perceived effort of acting on it.
“Rescheduling fails in the gap between intention and ease.”
Where the delay lives
A client opens a calendar. They aren't sure which service to book again. They wonder if the same provider is available. They consider whether they should ask about a different option. Each small question becomes a reason to close the tab and revisit later.
What removes the delay
A recommended next appointment. A familiar starting point. A clear sense of what changes — and what stays the same. When clients know exactly what to do, they do it sooner.
